Celebrating 50 years of independence means celebrating half a century of history, identity, resilience, achievements, and nation-building. This commemorative identity project was developed to mark the 50th anniversary of Angola’s national independence, a historic milestone of immense significance for the country and for all Angolans. The proposal seeks to visually convey the importance of this date, establishing a connection between the memory of the past, the strength of the present, and the hope for an increasingly prosperous future.

The creation of the logo stemmed from the need to develop a simple, striking, and institutional symbol capable of representing a large-scale national celebration. More than just a graphic design, the logo was conceived as an element of unity and identity, capable of fostering a sense of belonging and reinforcing the importance of Angola’s history.
